1. The Enlightenment was one of the largest if not the largest influence on the Age of Revolutions. The new ideas and philosophers from the Enlightenment was a huge reason why the American, Glorious, and French revolution took place. In 1789 when the French revolution started, the people were insanely upset with their rulers and their unfair increase on taxes, mostly to the poorer population, which lead to many people losing their homes, and even left to starve. In the United States Of America during the 1770's, the people were also very mad and unpleased by the raising of taxes, and the little say they had in what they could and could not do. Also they were very upset that all their hard works pay mostly went to England. In England around 1688, there was a huge conflict between the Catholics and the Anglicans which lead the Anglicans to remove King James, because they did not believe in what he believed in. The people in England were afraid that Catholicism would take over England again, and the people wanted a Protestant king to rule them, because they believed it would be the best thing for them. These are the main reasons what made the people that lived in these times and these places rebel, but that is not the only reason what made these people realize that they are being mistreated and should rebel. Enlightenment thinkers during these time periods had a lot to do with the revolutions, and the way governments were constructed after the revolutions. For example, After the French revolution, John Locke, and Jean Jacques Rousseau had a major impact on the way the government was set up. The ideas from both Enlightenment thinkers were interpreted in the way the government would be set up in the ways that people should never be unfairly ruled, and will be protected by their rights. In the American Revolution, John Locke's ideas were heavily taken into place when writhing the Deceleration of Independence, because Thomas Jefferson used many ideas that John Locke had to write the Deceleration of Independence. In the Glorious Revolution, the revolution was highly influenced by John Locke's letter of concerning tolerance. The letter told how Christians should be, and if Christians believed in the same god, they should not fight and tolerate each other. Out of all these revolutions, the Enlightenment had a huge influence on the Age of Revolutions.

2. The French Revolution was one of the most important revolutions that took place because the French Revolution made a ripple affect on the rest of the world and caused other revolutions around the world such as Rio de La Plata, The Brazilian Revolution, and the Mexican Revolution. The European people, mainly Spain and Portugal had control over most territories starting from Mexico and leading all the way down to Argentina. The people from Spain and Portugal treated the people in the Americas like dirt, and worked them to death with little pay, and taxed them so much that they would barely get any reward for the hard endless hours of work they put in each day. When the French people rebelled against their main power, and was doing this successfully, the rest of the world, such as the Americas saw that it was possible to do this, and decided to follow in the footsteps of the French and succeeded. The colonies were able to break up and make their own democratic governments, and were able to overthrow their higher powers. The French revolution was the role model if you would say, and the rest of the world that followed them were the little kids looking up to their role model, and succeeded into becoming that role model.

3. Inequality was a major reason that lead to the Age of Revolution. Inequality was a major reason why the French, Haiti, and Mexican revolutions took place. In France there was a major separation of gender and the social classes, such as the Nobles, and Clergy, were treated super well, and everyone else such as the women, and the poorer class were treated horribly. This unfair treatment lead to the major events in the French revolution such as the storming of the Bastille, and the women's march on the Versailles. Mexico and Haiti are in the same boat when it comes to the Inequality issues. Both Mexico and Haiti were in slaved and had no say in what they could and could not do, and they would work their tails off all day and get little pay or no pay, and would be constantly mistreated. This mistreatment lead to the Mexican and Haitian revolution. Inequality played a huge role on the Age of Revolutions because Inequality between people, especially when some group rules another group unfairly can cause people to be feed up with it and start to rebel, which it did.

4. The revolutions took place, and mostly during these time periods because of the Enlightenment, and the mistreatment from rulers or higher powers. The Enlightenment had a lot to do with the revolutions because the Enlightenment flooded those times with new ideas and Philosophers that influenced many revolutions. I believe the main reason for the revolutions though had to be the mistreatment that people were getting from their rulers or higher powers. People were getting taxed higher just because of their social class, or had to work hours on end to make little wage of zero wage, and this lead to the revolutions, because the people during these times were feed up.
